JAKARTA (Dow Jones)--Indonesia recorded a trade surplus of $900 million in February compared with $3.48 billion in January and $3.65 billion a year earlier, as imports rose and exports fell, the Central Statistics Agency said Tuesday.
The trade surplus was smaller than the $3.40 billion average forecast of seven regional economists polled by Dow Jones Newswires.
The agency said imports rose 27% on month to $9.63 billion in February, while exports fell almost 5% to $10.53 billion.
