LONDON (Dow Jones)--Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili will take part in a European Union summit to launch its Eastern Partnership initiative, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reports on its Web site Monday, citing the Georgian foreign ministry.
The report says Georgia's delegation will also include Georgy Baramidze, state minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.
The Eastern Partnership forum, held in Prague Thursday, includes talks on visa agreements, free-trade deals and strategic partnership agreements with countries from eastern Europe and the south Caucasus, RIA Novosti report.
The initiative doesn't involve future membership of the E.U.
